Introduction

TreeSnap's web services (aka our public API) provide users with a method to programmatically access collected data. With web services, developers can create applications that are able to pull data from the TreeSnap database. Since authentication is possible, an application will be able to receive accurate location information and private data that users would normally have access to when visiting the website.
