Welcome to the SpotifyPlus Integration custom component for Home Assistant wiki.

The SpotifyPlus Integration can do everything that the HA Spotify integration can do, supports Spotify Connect enabled devices (Bose, Sonos, Google Chromecast, Amazon Alexa, Denon, JBL, WiiM, and more), and provides 95+ custom services that can be used in HA automations and scripts. It also has 10 voice assistant intents that allow you to control the player, play content, manage favorites, etc - all with your voice.

There is also a SpotifyPlus Card UI that allows you to control the player, manage your Spotify favorites, as well as search the Spotify catalog. You have to install the SpotifyPlus integration first though, and get it configured before you can use the SpotifyPlus Card.

Limitations

The following limitations are imposed if you choose to install the SpotifyPlus Integration.

  • As of 2026/02/11, a Spotify Premium level membership is required in order to access the Spotify Web API due to Spotify Developer Access changes.

  • A Spotify Free level membership no longer works with the Spotify Web API after the 2026/02/11 date.

Report a Problem

Are you having a problem with the integration? Submit a Bug Report to bring the issue to my attention. I receive a notification when a new issue is opened, and will do my best to address it in a prompt and professional manner.

Request a New Feature

Do you have an idea for a new feature that could be added to the integration? Submit a Enhancement Request to get your idea into the queue. I receive a notification when a new request is opened, and will do my best to turn your idea into the latest and greatest feature.
