docs: surface the install script on the landing page - #24
Merged
Conversation
The docs landing page has its own "Quick install" block that the installer PR missed, so the fastest install path was absent from the page most readers hit first. Lead with it, and order the rest by prerequisites: script (none), Homebrew, then Go. Also updates the release-process section in contributing.md, which no longer described the verify-install job, and points contributors at `make test-install`. Follow-up to #22 and #23.
#22 updated
README.mdandinstallation.md, but missed thatindex.mdx— the docs landing page — carries its own## Quick installblock. The fastest install path was therefore absent from the page most readers hit first.index.mdx— lead with the install script, then order by prerequisites: script (none) → Homebrew → Go.contributing.md— the release-process list didn't mention theverify-installjob added in ci: verify the install script against each published release #23. Also points contributors atmake test-install.Docs-only.
