The pull request rewriter was a second front end onto the same translate() call, with its own prompt, its own file and stdin reading, and an -in-place path that atomically replaced the draft. Nothing else used any of it, and the hook is the feature worth keeping. Gone with it: the -blurb and -in-place flags, scrubBlurb, readDraft, replace, the blurb usage text, the blurb.md prompt and its embed, and the blurb entry in Rakefile's PROMPTS. config.Prompts() now returns just the session prompt, so init -prompts writes only session.md. I had a feature to rewrite files, but I'd kinda like to think about this problem a bit later.
