Give the frosted composer a sidebar-derived tint at 15% opacity in both dark and light mode. Account for the transcript’s shell canvas when deriving the tint color, then keep coverage low so 85% of the blurred backdrop remains visible. This moves the surface toward the right pane’s tone without forcing an exact opaque match. Keep the existing blur and low-contrast outline.
Validation: native Linux build, compositing regression test, rustfmt, and diff checks pass. The test verifies fixed 15% coverage and movement toward the sidebar tone across dark, light, and colored palettes. Native captures at 1600 × 850 show compact and multiline drafts with the right pane open and transcript content underneath.
