I’m Zhicheng Zhang, a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, with a background in Electronic Information Science and Technology.
My work focuses on backend and full-stack engineering, especially around distributed systems, data pipelines, and scalable system design. I’ve built systems like event-driven pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and telemetry infrastructure using FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.
On the side, my technical taste leans toward game systems and 3D graphics & rendering 🎮, particularly where real-time interaction meets scalable backend infrastructure.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy fitness 💪, drawing 🎨, and writing ✍️, which shape how I think about discipline, aesthetics, and expression.
I’m currently looking for Summer 2026 internships, and planning to pursue new grad full-time roles starting late 2026, across backend, full-stack, and game engineering 🚀
