Summary

  • mark Lilac Li's written authorization as received in the CRAN submission record
  • record that the July 13, 2026 statement covers authorship order, joint copyright ownership, Jae Man Park's maintainer role, MIT and CC BY 4.0 licensing, public distribution, and CRAN submission
  • move this authorization out of the outstanding external-gates list
  • exclude the private PDF from Git and R CMD build because it contains contact details and email metadata

Why

Lilac Li has now supplied the written authorization required by the CRAN preparation review. The release records should distinguish this completed authorization from the remaining external gates without publishing private email evidence.

Verification

  • visually reviewed the one-page PDF and extracted its text
  • confirmed every requested approval item is stated explicitly
  • git diff --check: pass
  • R CMD build .: pass
  • inspected pcatR_1.0.1.tar.gz: Lilac Statement.pdf is absent

The original statement remains private with the maintainer. This PR does not submit the package to CRAN, run Win-builder, or claim original-instrument-author confirmation.
