Define native database healthchecks in Compose and replace CI's fixed sleeps and unbounded polling with
docker compose up --wait --wait-timeout 120. Each database job prints Compose logs on failure. CI selects its existing fixed ports through environment variables; local runs retain random loopback ports.Only the workflow and Compose file change. No custom polling scripts, Python mocks, or additional CI jobs.
Validation: Compose configuration and workflow shell syntax checks pass. Native Compose waits passed with PostgreSQL 16 and MySQL 9.5 containers; fixtures were copied into those containers because local bind mounts were denied. The full database version matrix remains for CI.
